Qyros ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Qyros mobile application. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Account information: email address, display name, profession, and optional profile photo when you create an account.
Location data: precise GPS coordinates to power proximity-based discovery. Background location is collected only while the app is active and you have granted permission. You may define Privacy Zones where your exact position is never shared.
Communications: messages and connection requests you send within the app.
Usage data: interaction logs used to improve the service (e.g., feature usage, crash reports).
Payment data: subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of your entitlement but never your payment card details.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with:
You may update your profile, revoke location permission, or delete your account at any time. See Settings → Account in the app, or visit our account deletion page.
Users in certain jurisdictions (EU, California, etc.) may have additional rights such as data portability and erasure. Contact us to exercise them.
We retain your data while your account is active. Upon deletion, your profile, connections, messages, and location history are removed within 30 days.
Qyros is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
